PRIVATE INTERNATIONAL LAW (IPR)

The demand for legal advice in the international field is constantly growing due to Europeanization.

The term “private international law” is misleading because it is not international law but national law. Each state has its own private international law. Therefore, in cases involving foreign countries, the question of which of the national legal system is applicable usually arises.

A foreign contact can result for example from:

– the person‘s nationality
-the residence or person‘s length of stay abroad
-the location of an object or right abroad
– the place of a contract‘s conclusion
– the place of contract‘s fulfillment
